Shocked

Gave one of my copies to a friend today as a little pre-christmas pressy...

Well, frankly I'm ordering more.

Mine arrived this morning - only two days after I ordered it. How on earth can it happen so quickly? It's almost supernatural.

It's beautiful - I am very, very impressed. Excellent design and production. Lulu is really worthwhile, isn't it? I don't know why, but for some reason I didn't expect that the quality (of printing/paper/cover) would be as good as it is. I'm quite tempted to put a book up on there myself. Well done to everyone involved.

Tiny point - there is a line break that shouldn't be there towards the bottom of p.148. I don't know if it's possible to adjust this now? (Or if it's worth doing?)

Great to hear that your books arrived so quickly, Tara, and that you're so pleased with them.

After each author approved their text, the final copy for the book was proofread, repeatedly, by four different people. Our designer forewarned us that no matter how diligent we all were, it would not be 100% perfect.

Obviously, he was right and you've spotted the first thing we missed, Tara. Smile

Lulu charges quite heavily for any edits done to a book that's been published, so I think we'll just have to live with any errors and call them quirks.

Well actually, it's only the one so far ... but I may be tempted to another.

We can live with one "quirk". Your designer is right - there is usually something, in most books.

Lulu's like Amazon ... you need to set up an account with them and then go crazy adding things to your cart!
