I'd like to submit something for consideration, but I'm new to the site....Would it be impertinant of me?
Secondly, I can't sneeze without going over 2,500 words. I have a short fiction that comes in at just under 4,000 would that be considered too long?
Tony...
Ps...Forgot to mention, what a good idea and fine oportunity this is, well done all involved with this project. _________________ "Critics search for ages for the wrong word, which, to give them credit, they eventually find." |

You're more than welcome to join in, Tony.
Not sure about a 4,000 word piece, though. If you can come up with something shorter, that would be great. Otherwise, send the long one and TheDeer will have a look (he has a rather short attention span and tends to nod off around 2,500 words ). _________________ TheRightEyedDeer -- Literary Ezine

Cheers Donna
I'm sure a stand alone novel excerpt is not beyond me. Failing that, I'll send in the 4,000 and send the Deer to sleep....

Sorry to keep asking questions but on the guidelines it says you can't submit anything that has been published anywhere...does this include stuff entered for competitions on another writing site that are posted to be read if they win?
Do forgive me blathering on... |

Don't know if anyone has noticed, but the Bee persuaded Donna to add a small range of flashy items on the Deer website ... things like mugs, tee shirts etc.
I couldn't help myself
But they do look AWFULLY snazzy!
No doubt will be adding, in the long term, some Write Idea ones too, but we've got a bit of work to do on the logo
So go on ... flaunt yer Deer _________________ sometimes impossibility is only a state of mind, and yes, dammit, I do mind! -DP

following on from Tapes' query. Are we allowed to submit something previously published on the TWI site if it has not been submitted , or published elsewhere, intacto or fresh edit!

TWI a closed group that's only available for viewing by registered members. So, work that is posted within this forum is not considered 'previously published'.
If you've got something you've worked on from the forum, Mike, it's submittable! _________________ TheRightEyedDeer -- Literary Ezine

This looks great.
I'm catching up on various bits and pieces at the moment and have been very busy missing out on things like this. I would like to submit something for next time if possible. I don't currently have a website but it's something I'm working on so by the next round I should be prepared.
Please add me to the subscribers list!

You don't have to have a website, Effie.
