Whilst ironing, I've just watched this programme on iPlayer - it's one of the best programmes I've seen on writer's talking about writing and can highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, it's only available in the UK.

I've just downloaded it and I'm going to try to put it on disc so I can watch it again when the despair strikes. If I succeed, then I'll send you a copy.

Charlie Brooker takes an irreverent look at all aspects of life on the small screen, including capsule reviews of the week's highs and lows.

In a writers' special, Brooker is joined by some of the best in the business to talk about how you make a TV programme actually happen. The people and pens behind Doctor Who, Father Ted, Peep Show, Life on Mars, Shameless and many more lead us through the joys and pitfalls of writing, with the added benefit of some of the best bits from the programmes. (R) Broadcast on:BBC Four, 1:25am Wednesday 17th June 2009First broadcast:Tuesday 2nd December 2008 Duration: 50 minutes Available until: 2:14am Wednesday 24th June 2009 Categories:Comedy, Factual, Arts, Culture & the MediaCredits:Key talentCharlie Brooker

I watched this last year and it's very good but I do like Charlie Brooker anyway.
