AND ... this version

'It'll be lonely this Christmas' by Mud (partly because I'm a soppy git, partly because I love the vocals)

'Merry Xmas everybody' by Slade (How can anyone NOT be Christmassy after a blast of Noddy's rugged vocals)

'I wish it could be Christmas everyday' by Wizzard (again, it just makes me almost Christmassy)

The Shepherds' Farewell from L'Enfance du Christ by Hector Berlioz.

Blimey - it's on YouTube. Here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX2ciYX0wWo Not the best performance in the world, but not half bad either.

First heard this in the 80s. It used to come on the radio every Christmas. Still funny now. 12 Days of Christmas by Frank Kelly.

These are fabulous. We need to cut our own TWI Christmas CD!

Thanks for posting the Pogue video, JonP. Great one, that is.

I was born with a heart three sizes too small.

Although I do love The Pogues.
